We work closely with our customers to identify potential exposure and safety risks associated with the waste we accept and value employee participation in our safety programs. US Ecology has been recognized for its exemplary occupational safety and health through acceptance into OSHA's Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).
Our facilities in Grand View, ID, Robstown, TX, and Richland, WA have all been awarded VPP STAR status. US Ecology's Beatty, NV location has been recognized as a Safety and Health Achieventment Recognition Program site (SHARP) and has applied for VPP STAR status.
Environmental Compliance
Consistent with our core values, we conduct our operations in a manner protective of human health and the environment. US Ecology promotes a culture where regulatory compliance is the minimum level of acceptance of environmental performance. We work closely with our regulatory agencies to effectively implement our environmental management programs and we conduct rigorous environmental assessments and audits to monitor our performance. US Ecology's Stablex facility in Blainville, Quebec maintains ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management program.
