EPA Announces New Fees to the
EPA has announced new user e-Manifest fees for fiscal year 2020-2021
US Ecology representatives remain involved in technical discussions with EPA since the initial e-Manifest launched June 30, 2018. As EPA releases the specifications of their system, we continue to integrate our Customer Online Resource (COR) and our internal systems to meet EPA's requirements for the e-Manifest.
EPA has announced new user e-Manifest fees for fiscal year 2020-2021, effective October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2021.
EPA invoices the destination or receiving facility per hazardous waste manifest, and that cost is transferred to the customer. Effective October 1, 2019 US Ecology will be increasing the hazardous waste manifest fee to $20.00 per manifest to cover the federal fee, programming and administrative costs. Data from the paper manifest will continue to be collected at our facilities and uploaded to EPA's database to fulfill the agency's requirements. We will continue to use paper manifests until EPA has completed and tested the program necessary for full electronic shipments. EPA Fee Schedule
Please visit the EPA website and RCRAInfo for questions and instructions on how to register to retrieve your manifest electronically. This is the first step in eliminating the need to mail final copies to generators and helps control the fees associated with e-Manifest.
