October 2018 -- US Ecology is proud to partner with the US Army’s “Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS)” program which provides workforce development and training for future employment for Army recruits. PaYS was developed to help the Army attract, train and deploy the right people who want to serve their county, and secure employment once their commitment is completed.

Enlistees will sign a statement of intent to work for US Ecology that ensures them an interview with the company when they complete their initial active duty training. Before that interview, the Army will assist in training the soldiers on specific qualifications in preparation for potential employment.

US Ecology hosted a PaYS agreement signing ceremony at its headquarters in downtown Boise, Idaho on  August 15, 2018. Attendees included Idaho Governor C.L. “Butch” Otter; Idaho State Senator Cherie Buckner-Webb; Idaho State Representatives Mat Erpelding and Melissa Wintrow; newly appointed Idaho State Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, The Honorable Tom Greco; US Ecology CEO and President, Jeff Feeler; and local US Army Salt Lake City Battalion Commander, Lt. Col. Carl D. Whitman.
