NRC Altamira

Our fully established Tier 2 response bases in Mexico support offshore deep-water and shallow-water drilling operations. We work in partnership with our customers to provide the highest level of response capabilities to meet Mexican national and regional regulatory requirements, as well as and our customers’ OSRO plan expectations.

NRC, a US Ecology company, has two strategic Tier 2 Response Bases in Mexico to support the shallow and deepwater drilling operations that provide an extensive array of equipment and stockpiled dispersant. NRC Paraiso is located near the Port of Dos Bocas in the coastal state of Tabasco. NRC Altamira, located near the Port of Tampico, secured additional standby contracts in support of deepwater drilling operations in Mexico’s Perdido blocks. Both locations have an extensive array of equipment, stockpiled dispersant, dedicated personnel, incident management, consultancy and training and call-out services.
